LIT
The idea behind Learning Innovation Talks LIT is to organize 2-3 events per year, whereby educators can get together to share their learning and teaching innovations with one another in a more informal, relaxed, learning enriched, and innovative manner compared to traditional conferences and seminars. There is no fixed format, and it is up to the organizer to explore and innovate how sharing and learning should take place. The first two LIT events were held at University of Malaya (7 March, 2012), and Taylor’s University (20 November, 2012) respectively.
The 3rd LIT is organized by the e-Learning Team from the International Medical University (IMU), and
is scheduled to happen on May 22, 2013. It will be facilitated fully
online, and since you are already reading this here, I hope that you
will also be participating in LIT 03, too...Thanks!

LIC
LIT was conceptualized and realized by members from the Learning Innovation Circle (LIC), which is an open online learning and sharing community initiative, which was initiated by Prof. Zoraini Wati Abbas
in 2011. Today it has more than 500 members, and includes many
prominent educators from Malaysia and overseas. This interactive and
engaging online group is always exploring new ideas and challenging one
another to transform education for the better.
The most notable contribution to be materialized up until today from LIC, is the ‘Learning Innovation Talks’ (LIT) series.
